Push/Walk-Behind Mower Service
Our Master Mechanic, Mike Fouche, has over 25 years of experience working on all things lawnmower.
We primarily fix Toro, Gravely, and Ariens Push and Self-Propelled lawn mowers. Service availability for other brands is based on parts availability and back-log in the shop.
We are unable to provide estimates on repairs, however we are more than happy to diagnose and give an approximate estimation once the unit is in the shop. Our diagnostic fee is $20; we do not charge this on repaired units.
Our typical service includes:
- Spark Plug
- Air Filter
- Fuel Filter
- Oil Change
- Sharpen or Replace Blade(s)***
- Fuel System and Carburetor Cleaning
- Cable/Transmission Adjustment
*** By law, we are not able to sharpen blades once they have reached a certain thinness. When this occurs, we must either replace the blades or return the unit with no blades attached. Also, by OSHA standards, we must impact blades on to the lawnmowers we service; while we understand that this prevents the typical home-owner from replacing blades by his or herself, it is necessary for the safety of the user.
A shop material charge of $11.50 is required on each push mower repair - this covers materials used in clean up, oil and fuel disposal, and several other necessities of each repair.
Pick-up and Delivery service is available upon request. This is a separate charge that is determined by the mechanic who picks up the unit.
All equipment that has not been picked up 7 business days after notification of completion of the repair are subject to a $5/day fee. After 90 days, the unit will be discarded and no longer available for pick-up.
